Roots Film Festival

"ROOTS" is a film festival in The Hague organised by the Filmhuis. This film event provides a platform for filmmakers from The Hague and fosters connections among local filmmakers, contributing to a vibrant and positive film culture in the city.

Together with a team of other students, I was commissioned to design a visual identity for it. The commission included the logo, posters and banners, flags, tote bags, coasters, Instagram marketing posts, big-screen images and everything the festival needed. Personally, I worked on the digital deliverables, such as the website and mail header.

As a team, we collaborated closely to develop the entire graphic identity from the ground up, ensuring the festival's look and feel were both engaging and consistent across all media. The goal was not only to capture the essence of the festival but also to create a visual experience that would resonate with the local film community.
